InterCHARM MILANO 2011: from trade show to business meeting.

23 Mar 2011

Work continues on the second edition of InterCHARM MILANO, with many new ideas in the pipeline to offer professionals the ideal meeting point for sector supply and demand.

Specific initiatives are well under way therefore to promote business meetings on an international level.

“One of the biggest results of the first edition was business meetings between exhibitors and International buyers selected and invited by InterCHARM MILANO” asserts Maurizio Morra, InterCHARM MILANO Exhibition Development Manager “and this is why we have decided to reinforce those business operations which ensure our exhibitors get the highest return on their investment and the chance to meet decision makers and broaden business relations”.

After the success of the 2010 edition which hosted a total of 213 one-to-one meetings, this year “Meet the Buyer” will be welcoming no less than 40 international buyers with whom exhibiting companies can arrange face-to-face meetings. Appointments will be planned by scrupulously profiling participants and will be held in the Vip & Buyer Lounge, situated inside Hall #2.

“We are selecting operators from key geographical areas such as North America, the Middle East, South East Asia and Northern Europe” adds Morra “and we will give companies the chance to get an advance preview of their profiles in order to plan ahead and organize meetings that make the optimum match between supply and demand”.

Besides organizing international delegations, there will be no lack of operations targeted towards Italian buyers from both mass retailers and specialized retail chains to meet the requirements of new companies and international brands wishing to enter the Italian market.

“In the first edition we had 27 companies from 11 countries” confirms the Exhibition Development Manager “InterCHARM MILANO is an international event and in 2011 there will be many foreign companies to whom we can offer concrete opportunities to establish useful relationships that will develop their business.”

Buyer operations will involve all sectors: Beauty, Nails, Hairstyling, Perfumery & Cosmetics and the brand new iCMPack, the “trade fair within a trade fair” dedicated to packaging, raw materials and third party work which will be held on 26th and 27th September at Fieramilanocity.
