The history of INTERCHARM professional – a leading B2B Beautyindustry forum began in 1998. The Congress on Applied Aesthetics of “Les Nouvelles Esthetiques” magazine in Russian edition has passed in Moscow.
Along with the Congress, the organizers have provided the opportunity to participate not only in the business program, but also in the exhibition, which traditionally worked during the Congress. In a short time the training activities have been steadily growing – the School of nail Service 
appeared, Spa trend has arisen and much more. However, the number of exhibitors and visitors of the exhibition increased every year.
In 2002, the exposition of the Congress got its official name – INTERCHARM professional.
The dynamic development of perfumery and cosmetics industry has stimulated the emergence of the latest techniques and developments of modern equipment and drugs on the market, which range is 
increasing annually. On the one hand, it significantly extends the capabilities, on the other hand, it demands from health and beauty areas professionals continually update their knowledge in this field.
Every year the INTERCHARM professional exhibition filled with new sections, the audience of the event has increased steadily. The wide range of business activities allowed bringing professionals of various specialties and areas of the industry. Not only a cosmetologist, dermatologists, hairdressers, nail service specialists became the visitors of INTERCHARM professional, but also managers and owners of beauty salons, perfumery and cosmetics companies’ specialists, research and consulting agencies.
Due to continuous development, INTERCHARM professional formed in a separate event, created specifically for the salon business professionals. In 2006, the exhibition moved from “Expocentre” to “Crocus Expo”.
In 2007, the Project Farma + Beauty debut successfully within the frames of INTERCHARM professional and it has become an effective platform for dialogue between representatives of the pharmaceutical market and beauty industry experts.
A new chapter in the history of INTERCHARM professional opened in 2008 year, when the leading exhibition company with a worldwide reputation – Reed Exhibitions – has become the organizer of the event, which allowed the exhibition to strengthen its positions nationally, and globally either.
In 2010, the first INTERCHARM professional has introduced a new format of the event – the Ist Nail European International Championship. Masters from all over the world came to show their skills and gain the title of the best professional in manicure and pedicure.
The new features were launched at INTERCHARM professional exhibitors and visitors in 2011. Among them – Forum of massage technologies, seminar on aromatherapy, beauty contest and much more.
